Set amidst a charming bustling weavers village Bhujodi and inspired by the traditional Indian architectural style of a centrally open courtyard, flanked by long corridors, thick natural stone walls and high wooden ceilings, not to mention the amazing display of antique furnitures, The Kutch Courtyard is an exquisitely beautiful and thoughtfully designed home worth experiencing once.

Located right at the entry point of a very famous weavers village Bhujodi, The Kutchh Courtyard is a perfect set up, for people who want to experience the serenity and the slow pace of rural living. Its just right for those looking to pause for relaxation and comforts of a home. This house blends in seamlessly with the local way of life and its surroundings. Utmost care has been taken to see that nothing disturbs the rural culture, its natural environment or its peace.

The Kutchh Courtyard has 6 rooms, to offer their guests. All rooms are on the first floor, connected through a gallery and opens towards the central, open to sky courtyard. Rooms are well furnished with colonial style teak wood furniture, ensuite verandah, attatched bathroom, air conditioning, geyser, electric kettle intercom and wifi access. High wooden ceiling and lavish indoor space ensures maximum comfort for the guests.

Food, we believe is sacred, and is an expression of care, for ourselves and our guests. We also firmly believe, that our thoughts, while preparing and serving food, affects the energies of all who consumes it. A Homestay in Bhuj ….I had never heard !! The Kutchh Courtyard was an absolute surprise for us when we came to know about it .
Perfection is a series of small things done really well. This is exactly what Smita and Abhinav have created with The Kutchh Courtyard . The interiors are artistically and elegantly done .
Above all we just loved the hosts . So friendly , helpful and warm ! The Ghar ka Khana was healthy and yummy . This is a must visit home away from home !!

Smita and Abhinav were perfect hosts. They’ve put their heart and soul into the making of Kutch courtyard! It shows. Every minute detail is perfect. As you enter, you get the most wonderful vibes of genuine hospitality. The entire place has a classy look . The rooms. bathrooms are spotless. The staff is polite ,friendly and helpful. Both the hosts are available at all times. The food is healthy, tasty and is just like home. I guess that’s what homestays are all about. Also, their shop offers a mind-blowing selection of Kutch handicrafts, not seen anywhere else in Kutch. All curated by Smita. So go with your pockets full. It’s a proper vegetarian place, and they’re proud of it. Abhinav’s mom is the sweetest person who ceremoniously gives us prashad from their beautiful home temple. Experience was so good that we’ve booked a longer stay in the coming year.

We had an amazing time at The Kutchh Courtyard. It is a luxury homestay which has been beautifully built with international standards. The rooms are huge and well maintained by the owners themselves and along with it they serve amazing home cooked meals. The property is located in Bhujodi which is an artisian village near Bhuj and close to major attractions like Vande Matram Museum. The property had a lot of open space and my family had a great time.
